What is a Slot Machine

A Slot machine is a gambling machine with a slot / hole ment for casino chips or coins.
The basic slot machine has a game area with a number of game reels with several payline and bonus symbols.

The goal with a slot machine game, is to match as many symbols of the same kind, from left to right, on one or more of the slot machine paylines.

The slot machine paylines start at a position on the first slot machine reel, continue thru each of the slot machine reels, ending on the last slot machine reel.

A slot machine win occurs when a number of identical payline symbols occur on an active payline as definated in the slot machine paytable.

Each time the slot machine is played, the reels are spun and the game cost is subtracted from the casino balance.
Once the reels stop, the slot machine win is calculated and the prizes are paid to the casino balance.
